A FULL-DAY INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP
SEPTEMBER 17TH 9:30-5:00
The GTH Photography 101 Workshop is a full-day, in-person, interactive workshop designed to lay a firm foundation for understanding photography
Change-making is our passion and Photography is one of the greatest vehicles for storytelling that can lead to making a positive impact on the world.
In our Photography 101 Workshop it will be a day of discovery, connection and learning as we dive into the history of photography, the most influential photos and photographers of all time as well as how those images shaped culture.
We will cover understanding the building blocks of photography from ISO, Shutter speed, aperture, focal length, as well as a look at the many elements of good composition and the basics of photo editing.
In the afternoon we will collaborate together in the Natural Light studio taking photographs with models and still life as well as doing some street photography. (weather permitting)
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
$1 off coupons will be offered so people can get a coffee at Spyhouse Coffee next door.
You will come away from this workshop with a clear understanding of the basics of photography, experience shooting in a photo studio with models, and several edited photographs you took during the day to begin or add to your portfolio.
